Hospital Wristband Manager
A Flutter application built for the BB720A hospital wristband printer, integrating directly with Hospital Information Systems (HIS) to print patient ID wristbands with per-hospital Firebase sync and offline-first reliability.
The Challenge
Hospitals need patient ID wristbands printed reliably at admission, even when network connectivity in clinical areas is inconsistent — and each hospital's HIS setup and printer fleet needs to stay isolated from every other hospital using the platform.
The Solution
We built an offline-first Flutter app that talks directly to the BB720A printer hardware, pulls patient records from each hospital's HIS, and syncs per-hospital through isolated Firebase projects so admission-desk printing never depends on a live connection.
